My other Coton is my female, Jomaran's Belle of Snowmass aka Colby.

I began my search for Colby many, many months before I finally found her in Canada. I flew to Calgary, Alberta to meet her breeder there, and she was all that I could have hoped for.

Excellent pigment, good head and a lovely confidant personality. She is the Belle of the ball.

Colby at 6 weeks of age, loving the
grass and the camera as a baby

"I'm here!"

She joined our family at the beginning of a home remodel, and she was a trooper. She adapted wonderfully to a tumultuous few months.

She popped out of her Sherpa at Denver International and decided to run down the concourse.

She always has her own ideas on what to do.

She's a beauty retaining some of her lovely champagne coloring, making for a very "rich" white coloring.

She loves going for car rides and runs to the door before breakfast in hopes of going somewhere. She also adores snow and has never been cold out playing.

Colby in her front yard with Mount Sopris in the background. She loves to play outside and the mountains are a wonderful playground.

She took a break from eating the flowers, finding them quite yummy. She was about 5 months old.

This is Colby's favorite passtime, snow-play!
Watch out for the snowballs that love to accumulate on their feet and underside. One night in the dead of winter I had to go outside and carry her inside because she couldn't move. What a character!

My lovely girl has such a sweet look on her face, taking a break from making snow men in the yard. She was 8 months old when I captured this look of contentment.

Here she is all dressed up, it's party time. Her collar came from her Auntie Victoria and she's just adorable.

Colby with a 10 week old Rocky.
Quite the couple from the start.

What a great face and pigment.
She's 14 months old here.

Colby after a bath and grooming. She has a lovely coat, a good complement to Rocky's spectacular white coat.

Colby on the top of Independence Pass. We were on the way home after Rocky's success at his 1st dog show in July of 2005. We all enjoyed the spectacular view and the cool air.

Colby enjoying a beautiful fall afternoon on McClure's Pass, such a sweet face!

Mama to be resting before the big event.

Colby and John enjoying a Spring afternoon.

Colby's Portrait, see the snowballs on her legs? Lois Boylan created this wonderful picture of my favorite girl

It some time for Colby to hang out in her whelping box. A big beef bone did the trick.

Colby and her friend MC, who was visiting from Chicago. They are sitting on a chairlift on Aspen mountain, enjoying a late Summer afternoon.

She loves the car and puts her head outside the window to breathe the air and feel the wind.

Her little brother, Rocky is trying to get his nose out the window.

Colby and Rocky are a wonderful complement who produce puppies with good pigment, great heads, good thick coats and lively and fun personalities.

Colby has earned 1 Best Female and 1 Best Opposite, in puppy class. She was entered in the 2004 ARBA Rocly Mountain Classic in Longmont, Colorado. Stay tuned for more events she may enter in the future.
